baby cakes.

do you want to know what keeps a marriage going strong after being together for 11 years and married for 8? it's the little things

coming home from work to a husband who wants to take a family date to the local Fred Meyer superstore and treating us all to Starbucks. Then coming home, making blueberry and chocolate chips pancakes for all of us for dinner.

Yummy-delicious-jumbo berries-drenched in syrup-sprinkled in powder sugar. He even used his secret ingredient (instead of water) in the pancakes.

It was rather perfect. I sat there lovingly watch him, cook, flip, mix, pour and clean the kitchen when he was done. A rather perfect night in our little nest.

Happy Monday.
