It is no surprise to people who know Mike and I to hear that our dream is to live nestled in the Juneau woods one day with our little brude. We crave the simple, rustic, easy, eclectic, outside-coming-in, quiet days that this lifestyle allows. Spending our weekends taking pictures, hiking, making things and just enjoying our Alaskan life without too many worldly distractions. It's a living dream that hopefully will come true sooner rather than later!

i love cabins, so much! both my great-grandmother and grandmother have cabins nestled in a really remote part of colorado, and those two houses are my favorite places in the world. so warm and cozy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love the look of cabins personally, we have a ton up here in Maine too...exposed beams and the like. Unfortunately for that idea we're moving to Santa Fe, with muuuch different architecture!
