I haven't spoken too much about this here because it is such a personal, tender experience...but maybe someone who reads our blog will benefit. And this way I can remember this time in our lives, almost like an anniversary every year.
a year ago almost to the day, I was saved. Jesus took over my heart, took over my life and became a part of me. I always considered myself a Christian, believed in God, but I think it took me becoming an adult to really make the final step towards Jesus' love.
things were happening in our life, many of you know the scary details but HE was there for us. In the darkest hour, with unending love, he was there. It's rather impossible to successfully put it into words but there have been amazing things that have happened to me from the inside out; the perspective I have gained, support, tenderness, friendship and relationships I have made.

Mike has been such a powerful, amazing, support through my journey and his as well and through the foundation of Jesus Christ in our marriage, family and community I feel so very blessed.

ReplyDeletehi! new to your blog - first time actually but loved reading this post. 2012 has brought about a similar story. ive always claimed being a christian and claimed following christ but not a lot of my life reflected that proclamation. i want my life to be evidence with the work he's doing in me. thank you for sharing this - will be following your blog! :)
